Berta & Mantas

Berta was getting ready quietly in her room, while Mantas – always on the move – still managed to squeeze in a few laps around the go-kart track. That was their dynamic from the very beginning: she brought a sense of calm, while he was full of vibrant energy. And together, they carried that energy into every moment of the day.

Then came the moment they saw each other. Berta’s father walked her down the aisle, their eyes met, and everything else seemed to disappear for a second. The kind of emotion you can only truly experience on a wedding day.

After the ceremony came glasses of champagne, conversations and warm embraces. No one was in a hurry. It simply felt good. Really good.

Then we headed out for the photo session – by the church, around the manor, surrounded by nature and along the road. When there is no need to rush and there is trust between us, beautiful photographs can be created almost anywhere.

As evening arrived, there was dancing, laughter and pure joy. Plenty of candid moments, plenty of real emotion. I stayed well past midnight – still taking photographs, but by then already feeling more like one of the guests than simply the photographer.

Days like this don’t simply pass by. They stay with you. Not only in the photographs, but somewhere deeper. Within you. In your heart.
